1,000 product pages prepared in six weeks instead of around four months
A fast growing e-commerce was to put on-line a high-speed technical catalogue despite incomplete data and strong brand requirements. A pipeline linking product data, enrichment, creation, control and validation reduced the lead time by about 65%.

Why the business result was out of reach
For a handful of pages, content production remains an editorial matter. At a thousand pages, it becomes a go-to-market infrastructure.
Each reference required a main image, a title structure, consistent text, complete attributes, SEO controls and brand validation. The gaps in the catalogue created round-trips, the teams processed the references one by one, and the commercial launch waited for the end of the editorial chain.
The cost was not only in writing hours: the products remained unavailable longer, the acquisition campaigns waited for their landing pages, the potential revenue was staggered and brand inconsistencies increased with the number of stakeholders.
Data, processes and constraints
- E-commerce of technical sports clothing, on a niche in rapid expansion.
- Clients who knew exactly what the expected characteristics were: an approximate description or a bad image was enough to reduce confidence.
- Incomplete catalogue information, short commercial deadlines, significant technical differences between references and a visual identity to be preserved.
- A usual process estimated at about four months.
What was implemented
- 01Structure dataNormalize product information to distinguish between present attributes, gaps and items to be checked.
- 02Enrich incomplete sheetsCompleting from authorized sources when the catalogue was not sufficient, traceable.
- 03Select image on brand criteriaProduct legibility, composition and visual fit — not just resolution.
- 04Producing a coherent structureTitles, subtitles and texts prepared according to product type and editorial rules.
- 05Validate in layersSimple upstream controls, inconsistencies and sensitive decisions directed towards human validation.
What has been measured, and what it means
- Observed result
The 1,000 pages were prepared in six weeks, compared to about four months in the reference process.
Going from four months to six weeks represents a delay reduction close to 65% — not 75%, as a calendar approximation might suggest.
- Interpretation
Treating the product sheet as the result of a chain — data, enrichment, creation, control, validation — rather than as isolated writing work can greatly reduce the time to market, at constant quality.
How this translates into business impact
Revenue and learning available sooner
Early e-filing allows for the early start of acquisition, sales and behavioral observation.
Reduced opportunity cost
In a growing category, several weeks of delay may leave demand to competition.
Better absorbed growth
Producing 1,000 pages without proportionally multiplying resources makes it possible to launch more often and enter faster on new channels.
Coherence as a conversion factor
Speed is only valuable if the catalogue remains credible.
What this project inspired in CAIAC
This project has shown that the focus of a catalogue launch is not drafting, but coordination between data, creation, control and publication.
CAIAC today industrializes this principle: gap detection, authorised enrichment, structured production, brand controls, processing of exceptions, validation and activation, in the same governed workflow. The platform does not take up any assets, code, model or data from the historical project: it reconstructs its principle with its own components and the authorized resources of the company.
