Extending a local presence to millions of search intents without handling every market manually

A national network of localized services faced a fragmented demand between thousands of combinations of locations, services and intentions. The question was not how many pages produced, but how many local intentions could be served with an experience that was useful enough to gain visibility and conversion.

The challenge

Why the business result was out of reach

Manually creating a page for each place–service–intent combination is economically impossible. Automatic production of pages without quality requirements creates a symmetrical risk: low content, duplication, poor indexing and no value to the user.

Users were not looking for a brand or category, but for a need associated with a specific destination, neighbourhood, point of interest or service. A generic national page could not cover this diversity.

The real business topic is therefore not the number of pages. This is the marginal cost of opening a new demand pocket.

Results

What has been measured, and what it means

  1. Observed result

    The historical arrangement produced several million local pages, and the follow-up reported an improvement in the average ranking on the observed pages.

    This volume illustrates a production capacity. It does not alone demonstrate an SEO performance: the part actually published, explored and indexed, the cohorts followed and the Incrementality of traffic remain to be established.

  2. Interpretation

    Programmatic SEO is not a page-based factory. It is a demand-covering system in which each page must justify its existence with intent, useful information and measurable contribution.

What this project inspired in CAIAC

This project has shown that the value does not come from the volume produced, but from the governance of what deserves to be produced and indexed.

CAIAC today industrializes this principle: intentions, local data, rules of relevance, production, controls, indexation decision, measurement and consolidation. No template, content, or setting of the historical project is taken over: coverage is rebuilt with the authorized assets of each company.
